The employee benefits platform which drives engagement, attracts the best talent, builds better cultures and encourages good people to stay at your organisation.

Assent were recommended to Perkbox when they began to plan for ISO 27001 implementation.  We initially undertook an ISO 27001 gap analysis to understand the company’s infrastructure and other relevant processes.

From this gap analysis report, we guided Perkbox through the process of meeting all ISO 27001 requirements.

Successfully achieving ISO Certification in October 2018, Assent attended the external audits provided by a UKAS Accredited Body, to provide support and guidance.

Rob Gorle, Finance Director at Perkbox Said:

“We worked with Assent from the first stages of our ISO 27001 project through to certification. They worked very closely with key members of our team to help review our existing policies and implement a best practice security management system for the benefit of our business, as well as the certification itself.

We had the same primary consultant throughout the project who was an expert in the area and was accessible for advice throughout the project. Their involvement ranged from providing and reviewing additional initial policy and register templates, identifying risks and responsibilities, through to advice on training the different teams and ultimately support during the two audit stages.

We were delighted to pass our certification test at the first stage but with their support we were confident that we were ready for the audit.”

An Agile Startup Environment

As in many tech startups, things change quickly at Perkbox, and our consultants remained flexible to meet new challenges as the company grew.

Added GDPR Support

Assent were ideally placed to support Perkbox with GDPR compliance, having already gained a good understanding of the information assets, including personal data, that it holds.
