ISO 19650 is the international standard for Information Management (Level 2 BIM) based on the British Standard PAS 1192-2. Our ISO 19650 Consultants can help your organisation implement the standard.
What is BIM?
Building Information Modelling is the process of capturing, modelling and analysing all the data generated throughout the lifetime of a built asset – from construction to management.
Therefore, it involves everyone in the supply chain to have a good understanding of BIM, and apply compatible working practices.
ISO 19650 Consultants
Many will know the PAS 1192 framework which had several parts. This international standard is also in two parts:
BS EN ISO 19650-1: Organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling — Information management using building information modelling: Concepts and principles
BS EN ISO 19650-2: Organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling — Information management using building information modelling: Delivery phase of the assets
The standards include requirements for Information Management such as the Common Data Environment, and form part of the overall BIM Process.
Our ISO 19650 consultants are experienced and knowledgeable about the BIM process, having been involved in this area of construction for many years.
We primarily provide the following services:
ISO 9001 + BIM
Integrate BIM Processes with your ISO 9001 Quality Management System, an effective solution for the supply chain. Read more about ISO 9001 + BIM.
ISO 19650 Gap Analysis
Our BIM consultants will conduct a gap analysis and provide a report showing areas that need improvement
ISO 19650 Implementation
Our implementation services will ensure you have the knowledge and documents you need to work to Level 2 BIM.
ISO 19650 Certification
There are several ISO 19650 Certification schemes operating in the UK which can help align your organisation within the supply chain.
For those already certified or operating to to PAS 1192-2, there is a transition process supported by PD 19650-0 Transition guidance to BS EN ISO 19650.
