Developed by Kathy Clements in association with Assent Risk Management, the IDEA Standard enables organisations to implement meaningful, achievable best practice across Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA). Its practical guidance, assessment process, and recognised Pledge Badge demonstrate a genuine commitment to creating an environment where people and businesses can thrive.
Designed to support existing employees, enhance recruitment and retention, and help organisations meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010, the IDEA Standard turns good intentions into measurable action that delivers real business value.

What Services does IDEA Provide?
There are two types of service available under the IDEA Scheme:
Fully Supported
The following services are supported by one of our consultants.
Gap Analysis against the IDEA Standard– identifies strengths, highlights gaps and provides practical recommendations for improvement, helping you establish a clear roadmap towards compliance and best practice.
Consultancy against the IDEA Standard– A consultant works alongside your organisation to help implement the requirements of the standard, including a full set of documentation.
Self-Serve
The following services are available for direct purchase on the IDEA Website, and allows you to work in isolation and at your own pace:
IDEA Standard Only – You’ll receive access to the IDEA Standard document only.
Full Package – You’ll receive the IDEA Standard, Guidance Notes, your first Annual Assessment, plus a full set of templates.
Annual Assessment – Access to the Annual Assessment to submit evidence and receive the Pledge Mark only, (no access to the Standard, Guidance Notes, or Templates, designed for year 2 onwards).
