About the Project
Due to supply chain demands, Catalyx were required to achieve ISO 20252 certification to demonstration the quality and resilience of their processes through an impartial audit process.
While the company already operated many good practices, it did not have a quality management system structured to the requirements of ISO 20252, which is where Assent Risk Management stepped in to help.
Our Approach
Assent assigned specialist consultant Robert Clements to the project, applying our establish ISO 20252 project plan to the core framework of ISO 20252 and the relevant annexes.
We quickly established a secure shared area to collaborate on documentation and begun working through the standard’s requirements step-by-step, firstly observing where the company could already evidence compliance, and then adapting documentation and templates provided by Assent to suit the needs of Catalyx.
This included an ISO 20252 Manual document which maps to the requirements of the standard and allows for easy maintenance of the system going forward.
Prior to the Stage 2 external audit, Assent conducted an internal audit of the system and chaired a management review meeting.
Outcome
In June 2025, Catalyx successfully completed both Stage 1 and Stage 2 External audits with Certification Body SGS, resulting in certification to the standard!
“Assent played a crucial role in helping Catalyx achieve our ISO certification. While we had clear processes and documentation, Assent’s expert guidance helped us translate everything into the ISO structure and better understand the standard itself—making an otherwise daunting process smooth and manageable” – Kiran Raven, Head of Operations and Business Excellence, Catalyx
“It was a pleasure to work with the Catalyx team in both London and Sofia who worked really hard to implement the requirements into their operations. Congratulations on your ISO 20252 Certification!” – Robert Clements, Consultant, Assent Risk Management
