Assent Joins over 5000 accredited Living Wage employers across the UK

Risk Management Consultancy Assent is pleased to announce its support for the Living Wage Foundation and accreditation as a Living Wage Employer.

We are committed to paying our team, both employees and contractors, above the statutory National Living Wage, and as a minimum the Living Wage calculated by the Living Wage Foundation.

Director Robert Clements said:

Through the dedication of our team, our consultancy has grown from humble beginnings into a sustainable business that can, should and does reward our people for their hard work.

This Living Wage Accreditation reaffirms our ongoing commitment to a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work.

The Benefits of the Living Wage

Paying the Real Living Wage is good for business and good for society.

Difference Between National Living Wage and the real Living Wage

In 2015 the UK Government introduced the National Living Wage (NLW) for over-25s based on a target to reach 60% of median earnings by 2020 (wage based), whereas the real Living Wage is based on the cost of living (needs based).

The Living Wage is recalculated annually based on what employees and their families need to live.
