Assent Risk Management is pleased to support Fishburn Park Football Club’s Little Fishes sessions in Whitby by sponsoring new T-shirts for the young players.
Little Fishes is a weekly mini-football session held on Monday evenings for children aged between two and six. The sessions are designed to introduce young children to football in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment, with simple drills, games and activities that encourage them to get moving, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team.
The sponsorship came about through one of our team members, whose son currently takes part in Little Fishes. Her daughter has also recently progressed from Little Fishes into the club’s Under-7s team, providing a great example of how the sessions can give young children a starting point into football and encourage them to continue playing as they get older.
For Assent, supporting local organisations and community initiatives is an important part of being connected to the communities in which we work and live.
Robert Clements, founder of Assent said, “I’m really pleased we could support this local club which means so much to our team. Getting active and having fun in the community is something we can definitely support! Thank you Jess for championing this great club.”
We’re delighted to support Fishburn Football Club and the Little Fishes programme with the new T-shirts, and to play a small part in encouraging the next generation to get active, have fun and develop a love of football.
We look forward to seeing the Little Fishes players wearing their new T-shirts at their Monday evening sessions.
