Established in 2008, Applehouse Travel are a corporate travel management company (TMC) based in Mayfair, London. They are a team of highly qualified and experienced travel specialists whose clients range from Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to multinational and public-sector businesses.

Applehouse Travel and ISO 23301

Applehouse Travel engaged Assent to help them implement a business continuity management system to the requirements of ISO 22301 and achieve UKAS Accredited Certification.

The implementation was managed through Assent’s online project management and collaboration platform with regular on-site meetings, to ensure the bespoke BCMS was designed to meet the needs of Applehouse Travel and it’s interested parties.

Embedding business continuity in to business-as-usual processes, Applehouse Travel found the project had a positive effect on the business, improving its resilience and ability to respond to disruptive events.

The project was successfully completed, with the company being recommended for certification to ISO 22301 with 0 non-conformances.

Andrew Crossley, Business Development Manager, Applehouse Travel

‘Applehouse realised the need to implement a business continuity management system to ensure the internal robustness of our operations and to fulfil our obligations to our client base and interested parties. Achieving the ISO 22301 standard and attaining UKAS accredited certification has significantly enhanced our organisation and demonstrates our commitment to our corporate responsibilities and Duty of Care. The successful outcome of the project was thanks in no small part, to the professionalism and expertise of Assent and, that of our Project Manager, Rob Clements, whose diligence and attention to detail was highly commendable.’
