About the Project
In March 2021, any-3 approached Assent for ongoing internal support for ISO 27001, the international standard for Information Security Management. Having previously gained certification with BSI, they required additional internal assistance to maintain and continually improve their system. Assent assigned ISO specialist Andrew Pentney to the project to conduct internal audits, review risk assessments, and provide support during external audits.
Our Approach
Andrew Pentney provided structured, ongoing support, carrying out regular internal audits, reviewing and updating risk assessments, and offering guidance to ensure that any-3’s Information Security Management System remained fully compliant with ISO 27001 requirements. His approach helped integrate best practices and maintain continuous improvement across the organisation. This included the successful transition to the new ISO 27001:2022 standard in 2023.
Outcome
With Assent’s ongoing support, any-3 successfully maintained their ISO 27001 certification – the latest being November 2025. Internal audits, risk assessment reviews, and expert guidance ensured the management system remained effective, compliant, and aligned with the company’s operational goals.
